A dream come true
The invitation to support their vision was sent out to every wine cellar in South Africa asking them to donate three bottles of red wine that would become part of this unique idea and achieve a World first for the South African wine Industry. The name of this blend became known somewhat fittingly as ‘South Africa in a bottle’.
Stefan and his class received 663 bottles of wine from 221 various wineries across the 10 winemaking regions and set to work on blending South Africa in a bottle. The results were staggering. Wine Master Dave Hughes summed it up as ‘dangerously enjoyable’ and confirmed to a delighted class and Stefan that they had successfully turned their dream into a ‘dangerously enjoyable’ reality.
